Résumé The present Law lays down provisions relating to the supply of water. In particular, it defines the competences and tasks of local authorities and of the Canton to promote a careful use of water such as to safeguard the quality of drinking water. Every township shall keep an updated register of water supplies systems. The Canton is in charge of a general water supply plan to be transmitted to local authorities. The Canton shall also grant subsidies to local authorities relating to implementation expenses.
