In particular, the Law aims at the promotion of a healthy wild living animal stock and the conservation of the native animal species in their diversity. Article 2 establishes that the Canton is empowered to issue regulations on hunting. The text consists of 26 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: Principles (I); Enforcement authorities (II); Hunting rights (III); Protective measures (IV); Penalties (V); Final and transitional provisions (VI).
