The Ministry of Water and Energy is in charge for implementation of this Law in accordance with the management and administrative orders verified by the same Law. For operation in this sector getting the license is required while the Law provides for the requirements of the applicants and conditions of granting the licenses. The Law further provides for tariffs, market stability, network access and ownership, investment and dispute settlement. Article 36 of the Law refers to considering the environmental requirements for the implementation of the Law. This Law consists of 53 Articles divided into 12 Sections.
