The objective of the Law is to protect human health and the environment from potential risks which could arise from the intrinsic properties of chemical substances and preparations. It aims to establish restrictions on the placing on the market or use of certain chemical substances and preparations. There are provisions relating to the rights and duties of the producers, importers and other legal and natural persons as well as enterprises without the rights of a legal person which place on the market or otherwise handle chemical substances and preparations. Those involved with dangerous chemical substances must enter their properties into records and be readily accessible (art. 15). A register of dangerous chemical substances and preparations shall be established and approved by the government (art. 20). Texte intégral Anglais
