Résumé The preamble of the Law shall be stated as follows: "This Law governs relationships related to identification, registration, traceability of animals, as well as products of animal origin, defines the organizational, legal and financial framework for identification of animals, establishes the basic principles of organization and performance of this work on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic and is aimed at creation of conditions ensuring obtaining reliable information about identified animals and products of animal origin." Article 4 states that livestock breeding farms shall be subject to mandatory identification and registration of animals, except for animals staying in the state of natural freedom.
