This Law enetrs into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Résumé

This Law consists of 6 articles and implements the Law on Animal Welfare System approved in 2014 by the Council of Arab Countries. Article 2 deals with the penalties, including imprisonment and the payment of a fine, for non-compliance with the articles related to the treatment and care of the animals, while Article 3 deals with the penalties, including the imprisonment and the payment of a fine, for those who trade in predators. The bodies that obtain a permit from PAAF for activities such as authorized circuses and zoos are excluded. The Law approved by the GCC is attached.
