Résumé This Law consisting of 4 articles aims at amending some provisions of the Law of 1983, in particular (i) responsible body becomes the Ministry of Environment; (ii) a Committee for Living Aquatic Resources is established at the Ministry and will include among its members 4 representatives of fishermen from fishing areas selected by the Minister; (iii) it is prohibited practice fishing without a licence from the competent department; (iv) fishing terms and controls for amateur fishermen shall be decided by the Minister; (v) it is banned dumping into fishing or inland waters or onto the seabed of any waste without written approval from the competent bodies; (vi) aquaculture shall be prohibited without a license from the competent department.
