All licenced legal entities and individuals are responsible for providing safety and protection from ionic radiation and for implementing the obligations established by these provisions. Ionic radiation resources users are obliged to send for technical inspection all the ionic radiating equipment according to the criteria established in the respective guidelines. The Radiation Protection Committee is the national authority under the Ministry of Health responsible for the implementation of these provisions.
