And shall be published in the Official Gazette. Résumé This Law consisting of 25 articles establishes that (i) the electricity and water connection to the licensed places, buildings and facilities requires a certificate of conformity of the site (art.2); (ii) electricity and water may be connected to farms registered with the competent authorities, and buildings and facilities located in areas not approved for planning, in accordance with the controls and conditions issued by a decision of the Minister of Energy and Industry (art.3); (iii) the work of connecting electricity and water shall be undertaken by the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation after obtaining the license, taking into account the rules and the conditions for granting and renewing licenses to practice such works issued by a decision of the Minister (art.4); (iv) service delivery equipment and devices are public property of the state designated for the public benefit, and to ensure the safety of individuals and property the employees of the Organization may not be prevented from carrying out monitoring or necessary modification (art.9); (v) the fees payable for the various services are determined by a decision of the Minister (art.11). Subscribers' obligations - relating to security, safety, rules of electrical and water installations in force, and precautions to secure, protect and maintain equipment and devices - are provided for in Chapter III.
