Résumé The main aim of this Law is to regulate the exploitation and protection of thermal and mineral water resources. Medicinal natural water resources are considered waters of medicinal effect being in accordance with specified regulations under this Law. These provisions shall apply in the cases of use or exploitation of medicinal and/or thermal resources as well as for thalassotherapy centres. Provisions concerning the research and the exploitation of geothermal potential do not have application in the thermal natural resources. In the detail, the Law consists of seven Chapters: definition of thermal natural resources and ways of use (chapter I); identification, property rights, inventory of thermal natural resources (chapter II); thermal natural resources protection and management ((chapters III IV); authorisation and control of installations for thermal tourism (chapters V VI); transitional and final provisions (chapter VII).
