Entry into force notes
The Law enters into force on the date of its signature.
Résumé

The purpose of this Law shall be development of renewable sources of energy, improvement of energetic structure, diversification of energetic resources thus ensuring national energetic security. Objects of regulation shall be production, consumption and trade of thermal energy, electric energy and fuel produced with the use of renewable sources of energy, and also manufacturing and trade of technological equipment in the sphere of renewable sources of energy on the national territory. The Act consists of 4 Sections divided into 17 articles: (1) general provisions; (2) state management; (3) economic, organizational and legal regulation in the sphere of renewable sources of energy; and (4) conclusive provisions. Activity in the sphere of renewable sources of energy shall be subject to licensing and the sources of renewable energy shall be subject to registration.
