Résumé This Law establishes the State Food Supply Policy (Peaa). State actions aimed at food supply will meet the standards of the State Food Supply Policy – Peaa, in accordance with Law No. 22.806 of 29 December 2017, which deals with the State Policy on Sustainable Food and Nutrition Security – Pesans. Its implementation will observe the following principles and guidelines: I – promotion of food and nutritional sovereignty and security, with an emphasis on the availability and accessibility of food; II – valorization of socio-biodiversity products, agroecology and traditional ways of production; III – participation and social control; IV – encouraging healthy eating habits; V – surveillance regarding the quality and safety of food, from production to consumption.
