This Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Résumé

This Law, consisting of 12 articles, creates the State Programme for Productive Family Farm Certification in Acre. This State Programme aims to establish a voluntary environmental certification process for rural family farm production, providing opportunities for social and economic inclusion, and ensuring the sustainable use of natural resources and a proper management planning. Additional State Programme objectives are: the mitigation and adaptation to climate change and the consequent reduction of greenhouse gas emissions; the sustainable and appropriate use of natural resources and socio-biodiversity conservation; the conservation of water resources; and the income generation through sustainable production.
