Résumé This Law establishes legal basis for compliance of produce, equipment, technologies and processes with safety requirements for the prevention of damage to human life and environment. Compliance procedure shall entail the issuance of compliance certificate. The National Compliance Certification Authority shall carry out the following activities: (a) elaboration of state policy, monitoring and supervision over compliance certification procedure; and (b) establishes the form and the contents of compliance certificate. Certification authority shall examine applications for the issuance of compliance certificate and shall register compliance certificates. Compliance evaluation shall be compulsory for produce potentially hazardous for human life and environment. The list of produce subject to compulsory compliance certification shall be published in the official gazette. The produce that has passed compliance certification shall be marked with SM label.
