Résumé This Law, consisting of 40 articles divided into ten Chapters, regulates bidding and hiring activities Programme for Public-Private Partnerships of Paraná (Paraná Parcerias) with the objective of approving, monitoring and structuring public-private partnerships in projects of public interest, including the promotion of private activities in the areas of technology and innovation, culture and economic development. The above mentioned Programme will be developed within the scope of the Direct and Indirect Public Administration of the State Executive Branch, the special funds attached to it and other entities directly or indirectly controlled by the State of Paraná. The related organs, funds and entities are prohibited from developing and concluding public-private partnerships outside the scope of this Programme. Any public-private partnership must be duly informed to the Legislative Assembly of Paraná by the respective bodies, funds or entities involved in the scope of the Programme.
