Résumé This Law provides for the Reforestation of Native Fruit Species with Exotic Species to Benefit from Wild Birds. Reforestation with exotic species, for industrial consumption or commercialization purposes, within the State of Santa Catarina, may include the cultivation of fruit species to benefit the bird fauna, satisfying the following issues: distribution of the native fruit species should fulfill the technical criteria of implantation and management; planting of native fruit species can be done in the proportion of 5% at the time of planting; and introduced native fruit species can not be removed, except at the end of their vegetative cycle, when they can be replaced by other native species.
