Résumé The Law consists of 5 Sections. The present Law regulates relations connected with issuing licences and permits for entrepreneurial activity, determines comprehensive list of the types of activity subject to licensing and authorization, authorized administrative bodies and establishes the modalities of issuing licences and permits, amendments to them, their suspension, cancellation and revocation. Types of activity subject to licensing include: 1) processing of foodstuffs (including infant food), processing of tobaccos – licensing authority for these activities is the Ministry of Agriculture and Food; 2) manufacturing, repairs and trade of firearms and ammunition – licensing authority for these activities is the Ministry of Justice; 3) nuclear and radiation activity – licensing authority is the Ministry for Environmental Protection and Natural Resources; 4) production and distribution of electric energy - licensing authority is the National Commission for Regulation of Energy; 5) veterinary activity, manufacturing of veterinary drugs, pesticides and agro-chemicals and their trade – licensing authority is the Ministry of Agriculture and Food ; utilization, transformation, processing and transportation of oil and gas – licensing authority is the State Agency for Regulation of Oil and Gas Resources ; 6) use of natural resources (except for oil, gas, land and forests), environmental impact assessment – licensing authority is the Ministry for Environmental Protection and Natural Resources; 7) mining activity – licensing activity is the State Geological Department.
