Résumé

This Law deals with the commercial exploitation of submerged wood in dammed waters within the state territory. The State Executive Branch is authorized, through the State Foundation for the Environment and Renewable Water Resources (FEMARH), to register companies aiming to exploit submerged woods in dammed state waters. Trees that are not removed before the closure of the floodgates and are still submerged may be cut and removed from the bottom of the water using specific techniques and the wood, when benefited, may be destined for marketing. The State Executive Branch, after hearing the competent state organs, shall issue a normative instrument regulating the present law, on the economic exploitation of the logging activity in the aquatic environment in which the trees are submerged.
