Résumé This Law sets forth the legal basis for the establishment and activities of dekhkan farm and is aimed at creating favorable conditions for the development of this economic activity. Dehkan farm shall be subject of entrepreneurship performing production, storage, processing and trade of agricultural commodities; the aforesaid activities are based on the personal labor of one person or joint activity of a group of individuals on a land plot and property belonging thereto. Members of the dehkan farm shall be citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan, except for restrictions established by the national legislation. A land plot for the establishment of a dekhkan farm shall be allotted on condition of lifelong inheritable tenancy, with the right of alienation or without the right to alienate it, in the application of a citizen (citizens) by a decision of local executive bodies (local self-government) and district public authorities (in urban areas). The land plot for constitution of a dehkan farm is allotted entirely within the same locality. Dehkan farms shall have the right to constitute associations of dehkan farms.
