Résumé This Law establishes the State Policy to Encourage the Generation and Use of Energy Solar - Pró-Solar, with the purpose of taking advantage of the solar potential of the State of Maranhão to rationalize the consumption of electric energy. This State Policy aims to carry out the following activities: increase the use of solar energy in the state; stimulate the implementation of solar energy systems and investments in this area, encompassing technological development and photovoltaic and photothermal generation, for commercial and self-consumption in urban and rural areas, by public and private initiative for residential, community, commercial, industrial and agricultural use; encourage the generation and use of photovoltaic energy in rural areas far from the electricity distribution network; transforming the State into a national reference for generation and consumption of solar energy; encourage the deployment of equipment, materials and components industries used in solar energy systems, providing employment and income generation; foster training programmes at all stages on the solar energy production chain; study on the application of the use of electric energy from solar energy; educational campaigns on the advantages of using solar energy; contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emission indices; etc. Texte intégral Portugais Site web arquivos.al.ma.leg.br
