It also provides for transitional arrangements for compulsory acquisition and other matters. Acts here repealed include the Lands Acquisition Act 1955. Acts amended by this Act include the World Heritage Properties Conservation Act 1983, the National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act 1975 and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders (Queensland Reserves and Communities Self-management) Act 1978.
