Résumé

These Bye-laws consist of 21 sections and three schedules: Citation (1), Interpretation (2), Prohibition from carrying on business of food-vendor without licence (2), Application for licence (4), Renewal of licence (5), Inspection of premises (6), Licence to be produced for inspection (7), Licence not transferable (8), Health status of food-vendors (9), Personal hygiene of food-vendors (10), Location (11), Structure (12), Sanitary conditions (13), Appliances (14), Pest control (15), Powers of entry (16), Closure of stalls or business premises (17), Cooking and serving of food (18), Transportation of food (19), Food advisory services (20), Offences and penalties (21). The aims and purposes of these Bye-laws are to regulate the selling of food for vendors. In particular, the regulation points out specific requirements on the hygienic conditions that need to be used and respected in the selling of food on how the food should be cook, served, and transported, which are the requirements to become a vendor. Moreover, the text disciplines also the venue where the food should be sold and the types of equipment that must be used. It also prohibits carrying on the business of food-vendor without a licence.
