Résumé This Act, consisting of 16 Articles, is designed to establish and govern the Kush Institution as an autonomous public institution specializing in strategic research and policy studies. The institution's primary objectives encompass the following key tasks (i) conducting research and policy analysis on matters of Sudanese, African, and global significance, either independently or in collaboration with other research, academic, private sector, or civil society organizations; (ii) offering original critical insights and innovative solutions to influence the development, implementation, and evaluation of social policies, as well as public service programs; (iii) overseeing specialized research units or programs dedicated to conducting the prescribed research and strategic policy studies; (iv) providing consultancy, educational, and training programs or services to a wide range of institutions, including public, private, civil society, regional, and international entities; (v) initiating or participating in advocacy initiatives or activities that advance specific policies.
