The State Government may by notification, appoint a person duly qualified in veterinary medicine to be a Veterinary Officer and another to be an Inspector and specifying the area within which they shall exercise their powers. The State Government may for the purpose of preventing the outbreak or spread of any contagious or infectious disease in or from any area, by notification: a) direct that all animals in specific area or any class of such animals, shall be compulsorily inoculated in accordance with directions as may be specified in the notification; b) prohibit or regulate the bringing, removal, or transport into such area or any other area in the State animals, alive or dead or of any products of animals or of any parts of animals or of any fodder, bedding, or other thing used in connection with animals which may carry infection, etc. Texte intégral Anglais Site web www.lawsofindia.org
