Résumé

The present Instruction establishes the modalities of carrying out the preventive arrangements aimed at the prevention of poultry disease at the poultry breeding farms, determines veterinary and sanitary arrangements to be undertaken in case of the outbreak of avian influenza. The Instruction shall be compulsory for all poultry breeding farms and natural persons engaged in poultry breeding activity. Fresh carcases of poultry or sick poultry (no less than five heads of poultry, internal organs, cerebrum and twenty-five samples of blood serum must be forwarded to the state veterinary laboratory for research. Avian influenza shall be considered diagnosed in the presence of clinical factors, characteristic pathologoanatomic changes and the positive outcome of laboratory research. For the purpose of protection of the territory of a poultry farm against introduction of pests from other poultry farms or from the foreign states live poultry, daily chickens, incubation eggs and product of animal origin to be used as poultry fodder shall be subject to veterinary and sanitary inspection. The following preventive arrangements shall be applied to the poultry breeding farms : 1) closed regime of functioning; 2) only daily chicken and incubation eggs originating from safe poultry breeding farms (incubators) shall be admitted to the other poultry breeding farms; 3) live poultry and daily chickens subject to coming-out must pass sanitary and veterinary inspection; 4) to replenish poultry farms with poultry of the same age; 5) to disinfect incubation and alimentary eggs in conformity with the established modalities.
