Résumé

This Joint Decree shall be mandatory for all state executive bodies, institutions, organizations, enterprises, economic entities, social associations, officials and citizens on the whole national territory. Carriers of infection are preying animals (fox, wolf and raccoon dog) and also stray cats and dogs. Epizootic outbreaks shall be classified as urban and native or natural. In the process of carrying out preventive arrangements and prophylaxis of rabies shall be distinguished epizootic outbreaks, epidemic outbreaks, unfavourable area and dangerous area. The following preventive arrangements shall be complied with: (a) observance of sanitary and hygienic norms for keeping of live animals, including pets (cats, dogs) and wild fauna species; (b) registration of animals; (c) information of registration authority in case of death of registered animals; (d) deny access to unvaccinated against rabies sentry dogs to farms and herds; and (e) inform veterinary authority of cases of biting of agricultural animals and immediately isolated bitten animals.
