Résumé The Act aims to continue to make arrangements to purchase shali with the purpose of stabilizing prices in the interest of the producer and the consumer in the Kashmir Province. The profits accruing to the Kashmir Valley Food Control after meeting expenditure incurred in connection with its authorized operations shall be devoted exclusively to the furtherance of the Food Control scheme in Kashmir, with the approval of the Jammu and Kashmir Government. Advances made by the Kashmir Valley Food Control Department on account of shali, wheat or maize in addition to such penalty shall be recoverable as arrears of land revenue where failure to deliver grain needs such recoveries being made. Shali, rice, maize, or any preparation shall not be exported from the Kashmir Province except with the previous permission in writing of the Director, Kashmir Valley Food Control.
