It provides that the owner or owners of any ditch for irrigation, or other purposes, shall carefully maintain the embankments thereof so that the water of such ditch may not flood or damage the premises of others. The chapter further provides for ditches that are jointly owned and action to recover proportionate share of work; ditches that are jointly owned and lien for work; ditches, bridge to be built when ditch crosses public roads, costs of construction and failure to comply; when capital stock of irrigation companies assessable for maintenance; keeping fish out of irrigation systems; removal or destruction of bridges or flumes; driving or floating logs, timber or lumber on streams; construction of acts; prohibited acts and penalty for violation; irrigation facility modification and maintenance; contractor's bond; and statement of mechanic's lien, delivery to owner of ditch and retention of unpaid amount from subsequent payments to contractor.
