Résumé The present Regulations enforce the International Boundary Waters Treaty Act (R.S.C. 1985, c. I-17). In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to licences and water removal. Section 3 establishes that an application for a licence or for the renewal or amendment of a licence must be submitted to the Minister and contain the information listed in this section. Section 5 deals with water removals ruling that subsection 13(1) of the afore-mentioned Act applies only in respect of the Canadian portion of the water basins set out in this section.
