Résumé The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to requirements for ships entering internal waters of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Ordinance provides for the ships running into, out of or operate in the German territorial sea or internal waters to prevent, detect, monitor and reduce pollution of the marine environment. The Ordinance further provides for obligation of the ships to increase the safety and ease of Maritime transport and to prevent accidents. The Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency in in charge of implementation of this Ordinance. The text consists of 3 articles as follows: Sphere of application (1); Consequences of violations (2); Administrative offences (3).
