Résumé These Instructions of the State Food Control Agency specify in detail the duties of inspection veterinarians in various stages of control of production of game meat: ante-mortem inspection; post-mortem inspection; killing of animals; marking with stamps, reporting. The inspection veterinarian shall be responsible for marking. These Instructions implement EC Council Directive 92/45/EC which forms part of the list of legislation which shall be implemented in Norway pursuant to the Agreement establishing a European Economic Area (Council Directive on public health and animal health problems relating to killing of wild game and the placing on the market of wild-game meat).
