Résumé

This Part of Chapter 603 of the Florida Statutes concerns inspection of fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, and other agricultural products. The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services of Florida, cooperating with the United States Department of Agriculture, shall, when requested by the shipper, furnish carlot inspection of fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, and other agricultural products at shipping point, furnishing certificates in conformity with those used by the United States Department of Agriculture in shipping point inspection. The expense or charge of such inspection shall be paid by the shipper. The Part further provides for grades of fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, and other agricultural products; fees for inspections; enforcement of Federal Marketing Agreement Act by state as to certain vegetables; maturity standard for limes; and sales certificates that a grower issues to a purchaser when selling tropical or subtropical fruit.
