Every business that commenced operating in any sector of the economy reserved for indigenous Zimbabwean under the Third Schedule after a specified date shall apply for an indigenisation compliance certificate. Reserved sectors include primary production of food and cash crops, grain milling, bakeries and milk processing. The Regulations also require that an owner of a business wishing to use the qualifying scheme or trust shall donate to a community at least ten percent of the net asset value of the business in question.
