An carcase may be imported if from an animal that was slaughtered and processed at a slaughter house or meat plant approved under European Community legislation; and accompanied by a health certificate, issued by a veterinary inspector appointed by the Competent Authority in the country of origin, that conforms with European Community legislation for intra-community trade in meat and meat products.
