Résumé This Governmental Decree establishes the procedure for keeping the state register of water resources and appoints the Ministry of Environmental Protection state manager of the aforesaid register. The State Water Resources Register is an information system, the main purpose of which is to create a water resources information base within the framework of the national water policy, to implement a unified state strategy for effective management of water resources. The State Water Resources Register includes the following information and data: (a) indicators approved by water basin management plans; (b) quantitative and qualitative indicators of water resources; (c) water balance indicators of 6 large river basins (surface-underground) of 6 water basin management areas of the country; (d) reservoir registration indicators; (e) indicators on existing water pipes, water lines and drainage systems; (f) water losses of waterworks; (g) water use permits; (h) indicators or conditions fixed by licenses for production of electricity (capacity) in hydropower plants;(i) indicators on electricity produced by hydropower plants; (j) norms of water use, drainage, as well as losses of water systems; (k) monitoring indicators of national seismic observation network wells; (l) indicators on the communities in the zone of possible river flooding; and (m) monthly or quarterly outflows of main canals.
