The consolidated version of the Decree entered into force on 1 April 2015. Résumé The scope of this Decree is to regulate the following sectors: (a) surface waters; (b) groundwater and geological medium; (c) species, habitats, breeding sites and resting places as defined in Article 4 (2) and Annex I of Council Directive 79/409/EEC on the conservation of wild birds; (d) Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora; and IV. the species and habitats specified in Annex II, their breeding sites, resting places and natural habitats as defined in Annex I; (e) protected and highly protected species; f) Natura 2000 sites; (g) protected natural areas of national importance. In order to eliminate environmental damage, measures shall be taken to prevent environmental damage and to remedy environmental damage. Remediation or remediation must be carried out within the framework of the remedial action. In the case of environmental hazards, the user of the environment shall take all measures to prevent damage to the environment and to prevent further damage to the environment, and in particular to immediately control, intercept, remove or otherwise treat the substances causing harm to the environment or other harmful factors. In the event of environmental damage requiring immediate intervention, the user of the environment shall be obliged to perform remediation in all other cases. The rules for remediation are contained in a separate law. Immediate intervention is required if environmental damage endangers public health, public safety or, if the immediate elimination of environmental damage is more effective, efficient, economically feasible and future environmental damage can be prevented.
