Résumé This Regulation, with the exceptions in paragraph (2), regulates activities and facilities that cause or cause environmental noise or vibration. This Regulation shall not apply to the following activities: (a) occasional events held exclusively in public areas; (b) occupational noise and vibration at work; (c) activities which meet the household needs of individuals; (d) noise and vibration within transport vehicles; (e) noise and vibration caused by health rescue, fire-fighting, technical rescue; (f) religious activities; (g) events covered by the Law on Assembly Rights. It establishes that is forbidden to cause ambient noise or vibration in the environment to be protected. Extra emission or load limit values shall be considered significant as specified in separate legislation on noise and vibration loading limits. In order to control noise protection requirements, the environmental protection authority designated in Section 4 may carry out controls or perform measurements, calculations, tests or require the operator of the noise source to perform measurements and calculations.
