This strategy shall conform all requirements set out in this Act and aim at achieving the policy objectives stated in this Act. The President shall coordinate, through a whole-of-government approach, the efforts of relevant Federal departments and agencies in the implementation of the Global Food Security Strategy. The President may provide assistance under the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 to prevent or address food shortages.
