Résumé

The present Regulation enacts section 36 of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Act. The present Regulation applies to all geophysical exploration for petroleum and natural gas in British Columbia. Section 3 establishes that an application for approval to undertake a project must be made in the form required by the commission. If an operator proposes to alter the geophysical exploration from that described in the original application, the operator must submit a revised application to the commission. The text consists of 19 sections as follows: Interpretation (1); Application (2); Application for project approval (3); Reports (4); Registered traplines (5); Consent of highway authorities (6); Survey monuments (7); Geophysical exploration near pipeline, utility, residence, etc.(8); Shot hole plugging (9); Marking shot holes (10); Unexploded charges (11); Flow of gas or water (12); Inspection (13); Refuse removal (14); Campsite abandonment (15); Repair of damage (16);Use of trails and roads made on Crown lands (17); Bonding (18); Term of geophysical licence (19). One Schedule is enclosed.
