The basic Crown dues are calculated as follows: forest renewal charge + minimum stumpage rate + residual value rate, all defined in the schedules of the regulation. Sections 10-14 detail terms and conditions for licences, which include the prohibition to erect, or to permit or cause the erection of any building on any part of a licenced area unless the Minister is satisfied that such building is necessary for incidental timber cutting operations. When such buildings are no longer needed, the licensee shall move them off the licensed area. Any price established by a licence based on a tonne measurement shall be converted to a price based on a cubic metre measurement, according to the species, as specified in section 14.
