These Regulations deal with the use of certain techniques and the release of GMOs into the environment and are divided into the following Parts: Preliminary (1); Interpretation and general operation (2); Dealings with GMOs (3); Gene Technology Technical Advisory Committee (4); Ethics and Community Committee (5); Miscellaneous (7); Transitional (8). Schedules deal with: Techniques that are not gene technology (1A); Organisms that are not genetically modified organisms (1); Dealings exempt from licensing (2); Notifiable low risk dealings in relation to a GMO (3).
