The Revised Statutes of Alberta (R.S.A) 2000 are in force as of 1 January 2002.
Résumé

The present Act provides for the preservation of gas resources. For this purpose the granting of permits by the Energy Resources Conservation Board shall be limited. In particular, section 5 lays down provisions relating to terms and conditions of permit. The present Act consists of 22 sections as follows: Interpretation (1); Application for permit (2); Information (3); Permit on approval of Lieutenant Governor in Council (4); Terms and conditions of permit (5); Permit on Minister’s approval (6); Amendment by Board (7); Limitations on granting of permit (8); Emergency (9); Assignment of permit (10); Suspension of permit (11); Measurement of gas or propane (12); Regulations (13); Reconsideration of permit (14); Confidentiality (15); Powers and jurisdiction (16); Costs (17); Offence (18); Penalty (19); Order re contravention (20); Order to cease transporting (21); Order re exclusion from Act (22).
