Résumé The present Act lays down provisions relating to all kind of forests in the Canton of Thurgau. Article 2 contains the definition of “forest”according to which it must have an area of 500 m2, a width of 12 m and a minimum age of 15 years. The text consists of 41 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: Sphere of application (I); Organization of forestry (II); Forest conservation (III); Forestry management (IV); Vocational training and administrative proceedings (V); Financial contributions (VI); Transitional and final provisions (VII).
