Section 4 concerns membership of the Corporation. The Corporation is charged with promoting the interests of forestry in Botswana, the development of afforestation and the production and supply of timber. The Corporation shall manage, plant and otherwise use land vested in an accordance with section 11 it for purposes of this Act. Powers of the Corporation are set out in section 9. A licence is required to cut specified trees (sect. 11). Cutting of trees on land of the Corporation without a permission is prohibited. The Corporation may make Regulations, with approval of the Minister, concerning internal matters of the Corporation and the granting of licenses. (completed by one Schedule) Texte intégral Anglais
