Such notice may be served by an authorized officer of an enforcement authority on a proprietor of a food business who fails to comply with any regulations relative to the use of any process or treatment in the preparation of food and the securing of hygienic conditions in connection with commercial operations with respect to food or food sources (section 10 of the Act). The notice requires a proprietor to implement specified measures in order to secure compliance.
