Résumé

The Prime Minister is hereby empowered to claim sovereign rights for Malta over designated fishing waters for the purpose of exploring and exploiting, conserving and managing the living and non-living resources therein. Sovereign rights may be claimed over such areas of the marine waters beyond the limits laid down in article 3 (2) of the Territorial Waters and Contiguous Zone Act. The areas so designated shall constitute part of the fishing waters of Malta as provided in the Fisheries Conservation and Management Act. Article 3 of this Act amends subarticle (2) of article 3 of the Territorial Waters and Contiguous Zone Act.
