Fishing for species of nearshore finfish stocks for commercial purposes requires a valid nearshore fishery permit. The Fish and Game Commission may adopt Regulations as it determines necessary, based on the advice and recommendations of the Department of Fish and Game, to regulate nearshore fish stocks and fisheries.
