Entry into force notes: This Ordinance comes into force on 02 June 2017.

Résumé: The purpose of the present Ordinance is to transpose into German legislation the Council Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources and the Directive 2001/81/EC of the European Parliament and the Council on national emission ceilings for certain atmospheric pollutants. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the use of fertilizers, soil nutrients, soil substrates and plant protection substances according the principles of good professional practise in fertilizing. The text consists of 15 Articles and has 9 Appendixes. Article 13a is added to the Ordinance.
