Résumé The present Law determines principles of state policy aimed at the establishment of legal bases for common tourist market in the Russian federation and regulates relations, originating in the process of realization of the rights of citizens of the Russian Federation, foreign citizens and stateless persons for recreation, freedom of movement and other rights related to travelling, and determines the modalities of rational use of tourist resources of the Russian Federation. The document consists of IX Chapters that contain 22 articles. Chapter I (arts. 1-2) lays down general provisions. Chapter II (Arts.3-5) regards state regulation of tourist activity. Chapter III (Arts.6-8) establishes rights and obligations of tourist. Chapter IV (Arts.9-10) regards the particulars of formation, promotion and realization of tourist products. Chapter V (Arts.11-12) regards associations of tour-operators, tourist agencies and tourist associations. Chapter VI (art. 13) regards tourist resources of the Russian Federation.
