Résumé The present Federal Law determines the purposes and contents of the system of state prognostication of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation and programs of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation as well as general modalities of the elaboration of the aforesaid prognostication and programs. Prognostication of socio-economic development is based upon the state on the state of environment and ecological factors. The Program of socio-economic development must envisage the prospects of agricultural development and ecological policy. The Federal Law consists of 6 Articles. Article 1 defines the main concepts. Article 2 regards the system of state prognostication of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation. Article 3 regards long-term state prognostication of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation. Article 4 regards mid-term state prognostication and program of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation. Article 5 regards short-term state prognostication and program of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation. Article 6 lays down final provisions.
